The french sail training vessel Rara Avis put into port this afternoon. She was built in 1957, and does regual cross-atlantic Journeys. You can find her on the Waterfront By the Visitor Center.

Today brought the arival of Carnival Glory, on her first Cruise to Halifax of the year. Once again she will be a regular, making weekly stops.
After a Weeklong layup in port last week, the fishing fleet departed for the grounds yesterday at noon. Some vessels eturned to offload catch, before heading out to sea again. The Processors are offloading at Pier 9 this year.
