While Anchored on the waterfront, HMCS Halifax is closed to the public today for a Change in Command Ceremony. The outgoing commander is Rowed to shore, as the ships company lines the rails to salute, and cheer him off.
HMCS Halifax Spent the weekend secured to 4 mooring trot buoys in the North end of the Basin this weekend, Likely undergoing system and sensor tests. The Fleet Diving Unit appeared to be in Attendance, and a barge is alongside acting as a wharf for smaller vessels. She Departed this

HMCS Halifax Completed its work period at Halifax Shipyard, and was moved back to the dockyard. There she will undergo Addtional testing, and refitting of weapon systems, prior to sea and Operational trials. HMCS Fredricton, Currently in the graving dock will likely take Halifax’s place, Making room for HMCS Montreal.
