The NS Maritime Museum of the Atlantic put on a 3 day boat building course in August, where participants built a Bevans Skiff. 2 Vessels were completed, and passed Sea Trials.

Nova Scotia Sea Schools vessel Dorothea Launched this past Saturday. Shes tied up on the waterfront, Aclimating to her new watery home.
Dorothea, Today, Waiting to be Launched. She was rolled out of the shed yesterday, and placed on the barge. She will then be launched from the barge. Before rollout. one of the last activities was mounting the rudder hardware. (above)
Shes almost ready for the water (Next Saturday) Dorothea now sports a full paint job. Big difference from when we first saw her back in December.
Work has been progressing on the restoration to the Dorothea. Dorethea has a new Transom, and the interior is scheduled to be painted this Saturday. Volunteers are needed for this, so feel free to stop by. Here arre some photos of the work that has been going on. (Below) the
Work Continues on the Dorothea. Now pulling planks that are out, into the ribs. Chips in the hull are also being epoxyied back into place. The wedges are under a member which is bolted through the hull to pull everything in tight. The Planks are then screwed down tight into
