Today Brought the second trip of the Oceanex Connaigra. Arriving around noon, she backed into Pier 36. Below is a night shot while she was loading last week.
The Group Ocean Dredge, Ocean Traverse Nord appeared at anchor last night, and moved to Pier 31 this Morning. Ocean Traverse Nord is Groupe Ocean’s new trailing suction hopper dredge which went into service last fall. It Can discharge via pipe, rainbowing or by splitting and dumping its hopper. The

Svitzer tug Pointe aux Basques arrived in Halifax today. This was a bit of a surprise, as the port website was listing the arrival of fleet mate Pointe Sept Iles . Mac at Tugfax reports these tugs will now be stationed in Halifax, since thier contract at Sept-Iles, QC with
the new build Oceanex Connaigra Arrived in Halifax on her maiden revenue voyage and tied up at Autoport. 2 New Cyclones were spotted flying loops around Shearwater around noon today. Looks like flight training has begun.
The products tanker Indian point completed discharging refined product at the Imperial Oil terminal, and proceeded to anchor. The crude carrier Alpine Loyalty arrived from the outer anchorage to load unrefined crude and take it to another Canadian refinery. She had been in the outer anchorages waiting for a Coasting
Onego sent another vessel to Halifax Loaded with rails for CN. the Capri arrived over the weekend, and is slightly larger and newer then the Onego Trader that was here last week.
The cruise ship Yorktown returned today and tied up at Tall Ships Quay. She was last here on Sept 23.
