So after eating 32million dollars, the Nova Star is out, and Bay Ferries is now negotiating a contract to take over the Portland to Yarmouth ferry run. This is Probably a good thing – Bay operates the Digby/Saint John run, as well as the Northumberland Ferries from Pictou to PEI.

The USAC Zamzam Tied up at pier 41 on Saturday. Being 9036TEU, She is now the largest container ship to call on Halifax. Her arrival is part of CMA-CGM’s service, and operates under the Oceans 3 partnership, with CMA-CGM, UASC and China Shipping.

The BBC Maple Lea, Loads Cargo directly onto a barge. The barge NT1509 arrived in tow of Northern Transportation’s Tug Keewatin. Note the BBC Maple Lea is also carrying a large deck load of Yachts near the Bow. She also earlier offloaded some fabrications onto trucks.
