McNally Construction is running their slipforming rig at pier 9 forming new Caseons for the New Pier 8 at Halifax Shipyard. This pier will form the laydown area. Once begun, the concrete has to be poured continuously until complete. The Pier then Sets, and is towed to its final location

Hero #8 (Second to last) can be seen being assembled in the Assembly hall. She looks to be close to receiving her paint, however the yard lacks space in the lay down area until Hero #6 CCGS Corporal McLaren MMV is launched. Hero Class #7 CCGS A. LeBlanc can be seen

There are reports that a Coast Guard Helicopter Crashed in the Arctic Monday night, Killing 3 persons on board. More Details as they are known. The CCGS is Currently looking to replace its fleet of Helicopters. The Halifax Based vessel CCGS Sir Wilfred Laurier is currently working in the Arctic
The Michel A Arrived around 12:30. She is one of the new vessels covering Melfi’s Service, Replacing the Renate Schulte. She has been on the capture list for a while, and today schedules worked out.
The New Pier 7 is being installed. McNally Construction is using the same method as the expanded pier 9; Concrete Caissons are poured, floated into Position, and then filled with rock. The area behind will then be back filled. As of yesterday, the first two have been installed.

Looks like work is held up due to Rain. Zhen Hua 19 has moved into Position at pier 42, however no work has been done to load the crane. UPDATE: Apprently they couldnt get the pins out to remove the wheels. the crane will be re-located over land.
