VOCM News in Newfoundland reports that: The Oceanex Connaigra has finished sea trials successfully in Germany and is expected to arrive in St. John’s next weekend. It will stay for a few days before sailing to Halifax to work that service while the Oceanex Sanderling completes a short dry dock.

With news that Oceanex Sanderling is due for a work period in October, Oceanex Connaira was quietly registered in Canada on Sept 20, And is currently conducting trials. Its possible she may make it to Canada in time to take over for the Sanderling. Oceanex Connaigra is being built by
Hero #6 CCGS Corporal McLaren MMV is due to launch Saturday afternoon. Based on previous experience, she will probably start moving around 2:30pm, though the operation is scheduled to begin at 13:30.
