The Chronicle Herald is reporting that CBSA removed a stowaway from Atlantic Concert this Morning. This is The third time In recent memory stoways have been found on Atlantic Concert. Previous incidents on this vessel were reported in April 2009 and Febuary 2011 Photo Above from 0745 this morning.
Scheduled to move for trials in the basin this morning, Atlantic cartier remains at the pier. The tugs Atlantic Larch and Willow have left, and It appears Atlantic Compass is anchoring in the Basin waiting for the birth to clear. Sources have indicated that the Engine on Atlantic Cartier is
Atlantic Compass passes Atlantic Cartier, while heading outbound. Atlantic Cartier was required to wait for compass to clear the narrows.
With Atlantic Compass entering the Narrows outbound, OOCL Antwerp and Oakland Express Had to wait in the inner harbour for her to pass. Large vessels are restricted one direction at a time due to the Narrow passage to avoid collisions. (This rule came into effect as a result of the
Cape Mayor Called at Fairview Cove on Monday for Atlantic Container Line. She gave Her destination as Baltimore, however doesn’t seem to be listed on ACL’s Normal Schedule. She is likely filling in for a run, and time will tell if she returns on the east bound trip.
