LeBlanc.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>The CCGS <i>A. LeBlanc <\/i>was named after fisheries officer Agapit LeBlanc, of Bouctouche, <br \/>\nNew<br \/>\n Brunswick, who joined the Canadian Fisheries and Marine Service in<br \/>\n1920. He was killed on October 20, 1926 while investigating illegal<br \/>\nfishing vessels.<\/p>\n<p>This Mid-Shore Patrol Vessel will be based in the Central and Arctic<br \/>\nRegion and was constructed in Halifax, Nova Scotia by Irving<br \/>\nShipbuilding Inc.
