\nThe start yesterday of  CMA CGM\u2019s Columbus Loop service regular call to Halifax, has added a unique cruising opportunity.<\/p>\n

the 71 day Cruise is on the eastbound route, and sails sails Halifax \u2013 New York \u2013 Norfolk \u2013
\nSavannah \u2013 Suez Canal \u2013 Port Kelang \u2013 Vung Tau \u2013 Hong Kong \u2013 Yantian \u2013
\nShanghai \u2013 Ningbo \u2013 Pusan \u2013 Seattle \u2013 Vancouver. This takes 71 days, the
\n longest stretch of which is 37 days from Savannah to Port Kelang.
\nHalifax passengers will board at the Halterm container terminal.<\/p>\n

The shorter route is westbound: Vancouver \u2013 Nadkhodka \u2013 Shanghai \u2013
\nHong Kong \u2013 Yantian \u2013 Vung Tau \u2013 Port Kelang \u2013 Suez Canal \u2013 Halifax. The
\n time in transit is 55 days, the longest stretch of which is the last 23
\n days from Port Kelang to Halifax. Vancouver embarkations take place at
\nthe Deltaport container terminal, near BC Ferries\u2019 main
\nVancouver-Victoria terminal at Tsawwassen.<\/p>\n
