She will become the CCGS <i>G. Peddle. <\/i>Hero #4, CCGS <i>Constable Carri\u00e8re<\/i>, has been tarped to protect form overspray, though there are clearly some wind issues.<\/p>\n<p>The Vessel is named after Canadian Coast Guard Chief Officer<br \/>\nGregory Paul Peddle, S.C., of Spaniard\u2019s Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador.<br \/>\n Chief Officer Peddle and his colleagues, Senior Engineer Pierre Gallien<br \/>\n and Leading Seaman Raymond C. Welcher, lost their lives on October, 15,<br \/>\n 1989, when their fast rescue craft overturned in an attempt to rescue a<br \/>\n diver off Middle Cove, Newfoundland.
